Our Story

Where it started.

TruAthletics was built out of a real need: custom strength equipment that was high-quality, functional, and attainable. What began in 2006 as a solution for a private performance facility quickly grew as coaches saw the equipment and wanted the same level of customization for their own spaces. Today, TruAthletics brings together a team of coaches, designers, and builders with 60+ years of combined experience to create custom weight rooms built for how athletes actually train.

Design the Rack in CAD

We sit down with you and draw the exact rack your room and your athletes need — every dimension, attachment, and feature engineered in CAD from the first line.

Refine Until It's Right

You call the changes; we redraw. The model gets reworked, pass after pass, until the rack is exactly what you pictured.

See It in Your Colors

Photoreal renders in your colors and your logos — the real rack, not a catalog stand-in. You sign off on the look before we build a thing.

Lay Out the Whole Room

We drop every piece into an overhead CAD view to dial in spacing, alignment, and traffic flow — then adjust it to your direction.

Your entire room, rendered from every angle — colors, logos, and exact placement. A full walkthrough of the finished space before anything ships.

Build & Install

Fabricated by hand in-house, then delivered and set by our own crew. We don't leave until your athletes can walk in and train.

Custom, Down to the Detail

The only name in the room is yours.

Walk into most weight rooms and the equipment brand’s name is stamped on every rack, plate, and bench — your program paying to advertise theirs. We do the opposite. Everywhere another company would put their own logo, we put your school’s — laser-cut into the steel, molded into the plates, printed on the bars. We don’t believe your room should sell our name. We believe it should sell yours.

If it’s in your room, we built it. Racks, plates, bars, dumbbells, cable machines, inlaid platforms, flooring — every piece is engineered, cut, and logoed for your program. From the floor up to the smallest piece of hardware, nothing is off-the-shelf.
